Tile Saw Blades

A Tile saw Blade is what you need if you're cutting tile! Unlike woods and metals, ceramic tiles are both thick and brittle and the standard circular saws used for other purposes shall not work with them. These blades would either overheat and stop running or shatter the tiles. Hence special types of saw blades are used for these purposes. The tile saw blades are generally carbide tipped, though a number of them are alto diamond tipped and are costlier than their steel counterparts. Tile saw blades are measured by their blade capacity which determines the depth the blade can cut. Blades with smaller capacities are used for cutting small tiles while those with larger blade capacities are used for cutting large marble slabs that are used for flooring. These blades require to be cooled during operation so that they retain their sharpness and the same is achieved by spraying them from both sides with water with the help of a special pump.
