The QEP tile saw can easily rip through a 24 inches square tile and can also cut a 18” tile diagonally. Its brushless, direct drive and 1.5 HP motor, spins at 3550 RPM. The unit ships with an adjustable leg facilitating for setting up the same on uneven surfaces. To enhance cutting quality, 6 ball bearings are incorporated in its motor trolley unit. A totally enclosed water system connected to a water tank, sprays water on both sides of the diamond blade thus keeping it cool and also ensuring that the tile dust formed during cutting does not escape into the atmosphere. A special thermal overload cutoff system prevents the cutting saw from overheating. The power switch can be locked with a key to prevent misuse and the power cords are covered in a protective tube. The unit ships with a water pump, an 18” wed diamond blade boasting of a continuous rim along with a fold out stand.
